My first visual novel/ren’py game ever! This was made in 10 days for the O2A2 2024 jam, and as such, adheres to its limitations of 1k words, 1 sprite, 1 BG, 1 sound effect, and 1 BGM.

What a gem this is! You really made the most of every word and every asset, and brought them all to a perfect polish. Even knowing what I do after playing both endings (ouch), I can’t help but wish Juniper well.
Wow, this was so incredibly stunning and haunting! I love love the glowing and flickering animation (in both the menu and the sprite), the menu sound effect scratches my brain right lol. The GUI is so polished, and I love the painterly art style! And omg the writing is so descriptive and evocative for the given limit, I caught the hints of foreshadowing alluding to the twist in the second playthrough, so genius. Absolutely amazing work 100/10
